None. Qalb does not collect any personal information from you. There is no signup. There is no login. There is no profile. You can use the entire app without ever entering your name, email, age, location, or anything else.
Qalb saves a small amount of information so the app remembers your progress between sessions. This includes:
All of this is stored on your device only. It uses your phone's local storage, the same way most apps remember small settings. None of this information is sent to a server. None of it is shared with anyone. If you uninstall the app, all of it is gone.
Qalb does not use any third-party services. No Google Analytics. No Facebook SDK. No Firebase. No advertising networks. No crash reporting. No tracking pixels. The app does not contact any external server during normal use.
The only outside resource the app loads is fonts from Google Fonts (Amiri, Cormorant Garamond, Inter). Google Fonts does not require an account and Google's own documentation states that this service does not log users. If you use the app offline, the fonts fall back to your device's built-in fonts and everything still works.
Qalb includes a Share button on the steps screen. If you tap it, the app uses your phone's standard share menu to let you copy or send a short message containing your lifetime step count (for example, "I've taken 1,234 steps toward Allah on Qalb"). The app itself does not share anything automatically. Sharing only happens when you explicitly tap the button and pick a destination.

Qalb does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, calendar, or any other sensitive permission beyond those listed above. If a future version of Qalb ever needs a new permission, this policy will be updated and you'll be asked before it's used.
Qalb is suitable for users aged 13 and over, in line with both the Apple App Store and Google Play minimum age requirements. The app contains no graphic content, no in-app purchases, no chat features, no user-generated content, and no advertising. It teaches basic Islamic practice (wudhu, salah, dhikr, duas) using plain language and traditional sources.

Because Qalb does not collect, process, or store any personal data on any server, most data-protection rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR do not have anything to apply to. There is no data on us to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict. Your locally stored data lives on your phone and you can wipe it any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

Because no data leaves your device, there is no server-side database to breach. Your information is as secure as the rest of your phone. We recommend using a passcode or biometric lock on your device — but that's true of any app you use.
If anything in Qalb's data practices ever changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will reflect that. Material changes (like introducing any kind of analytics or data collection) would be announced clearly inside the app before they take effect, with an option to opt out or stop using the app first.
